Summer Bingo...

I know that summer seems way far off, but I'm starting to get our Summer Bingo cards ready. The cards below are ones that my good friend Kristi made for last year. We got the idea from Stacy Julian. She has lots of templates you can download to get started. I've been working on ours and I'll post some of them once I get the first few finished.

Look and Find Books...

Cole LOVES Look and Find and I Spy books. Sometimes he has a hard time keeping track of which pictures he has found. I let him use some of my little Post-it Tabs. They are repositionable and temporary. He loves marking the pictures as he finds them.

Product Review: Roll It Paint

A few weeks ago Cole's Nana brought over a pack of some new Roll It Paint. Cole really liked them. They didn't work very well on thin paper, but on thicker craft paper and our toilet paper rolls they worked great.

Ladybug Counting...

This was another counting activity that we did. I drew some ladybugs and let Cole decide which numbers he wanted me to write in and then we counted out little spots to glue on the ladybugs. This would an easy activity for slightly older kids to complete independently.

Mother's Day Gift Guide {Shutterfly Photo Book}

I must admit that I love Shutterfly.  I love how easy the site is to use.  I love the quality of the products.  In the past I've created photo books for Father's Day, Valentine's Day or just because.  Photo books are the perfect gift for new moms as well as grandmothers.

Mother's Day Gift Guide {Olympus Stylus Tough Digital Camera}

This little gem, the Olympus Stylus Tough Digital Camera, was something Santa brought me this past Christmas.  So far I love it.  It is waterproof, smash proof, drop proof, crush proof and most importantly, kid proof.  It is small enough to slip in my pocket or the side of our diaper bag and it is so easy to use.  I can turn it on, zoom and take a picture all while holding a baby.  It's the perfect gift for the mom who is always on the go.

Mother's Day Gift Guide {Eye-Fi Memory Card}

I received the Eye-Fi 2 GB Card for Mother's Day 2 years ago and it was one of the best gifts I have ever gotten.  The Eye-Fi card works with your wireless network to automatically upload pictures from your camera to your home computer and to a variety of photo sharing sites of your choosing.  My card is set to upload to iPhoto and to Shutterfly.  I can't tell you how many times I've needed to order prints or create a photo gift and been so relieved that all my pictures are already uploaded to my Shutterfly account.  This is the perfect gift for the mom who loves taking pictures.

Mother's Day Gift Guide {Roomba}

I decided to try a little something different for the blog.  Since Mother's Day is right around the corner I thought I'd come up with a Mother's Day Gift Guide.  For the next week I'll review a few items that I just love that would also make fantastic Mother's Day gifts.  Enjoy!

First item up for my Mother's Day Gift Guide is the iRobot Roomba Vacuum Cleaner.  I've had my Roomba for about 4 years and I love it.  Now, I will tell you that we have all hardwood floors and I keep the floors pretty well picked up so Roomba doesn't have to navigate around lots of toys or furniture.  It makes a great gift for the busy mom with lots of kids and pets to clean up after.
