Simple Scrapbooks Magazine...

I love Simple Scrapbooks Magazine. I think all of the people who work over there and contribute to it's greatness are just awesome and so talented. So last month they put out their baby issue and I ate it up. I scrap lifted at least 4 pages/albums from them. I also wrote them a letter, pretty much professing my love for Cathy Zielske. Here is my letter to the editor...

If you have access to the issue that I'm talking about give it to someone who is going to have a baby. I really did make this entire album before Cole was born and it really was the best thing I have ever done! I started with the month he was born and printed a blank calendar page. Opposite that is a spot for 4 (4x4) pictures. The next layout is an area for notes from the month and then 4 more pictures. It goes all the way through his first year and the back page is for his 1st birthday. I used a 9x9 album so that I could just cut 4x6 pictures down to 4x4 easily. I fill in the calendar with whatever random things happened that day or that week and at the end of the month I fill in the notes. If I never do another album for as long as I live I will ALWAYS be grateful that I have this. Here are some pictures...

Such a great idea & great looking album! If only I had heard of scrapbooking when I was on bed rest with both babies.

What size scrapbook paper did you use? I have never found 9 x9 paper.
