Ok... are you ready for a revolution?
If not, go read some other blog.
Here's the back story... My friend Kristi is reading and doing activities in a book called "5". You can get it off the Compendium site. I haven't seen the book yet, but it helps you plan out where you want to be in the next 5 years and one of the things it mentions is that there are 250+ Mondays in the next 5 years. And what is something you can do every Monday that over the course of the next 5 years will make a big impact?
My answer... scrapbook. I love it. I NEVER make time for it. Anytime I plan to do it something else comes up. It makes me so happy and yet it is last on my priority list. Can any of you relate?
So I have committed to make something every Monday. I am setting aside 1-2 hours every Monday evening to work on a small project, on-going album, gift for someone, or even just uploading or printing pictures. Something. Because in 5 years I want to have something to remember how much my son has grown or all the fun things we do as a family.
Are you with me?
Every Monday I'm going to post something I'm working on, or my to-do list. Maybe pictures from a project. Just a little something to hold me accountable. I encourage all of you to do the same. If Monday doesn't work for you then pick another day, but set aside the time to make something.

It's a little depressing to realize there are that many Mondays in 5 years! And you're right, there is always time to do things for others but not ourselves! So while I may not have 2 hours a week to do something for me, I will do my best to find some "me" time; I currently am knitting squares to make blankets for the womens shelter while watching TV or going to my kids' hockey which allows me to craft and do something for the community so a win-win situation. And it drives my kids nuts when I knit!! I'll ink in "me" time to scrapbook and that will make me happy too!! :) Canadian Jayne
