Ultimate Lego Party - Make Your Own Lego Crayons

We are gearing up for a Lego Birthday Party. One of the activities that we will be having is a coloring station with Lego Coloring Sheets as well as Lego Crayons. The crayons I made myself using some old crayons, a Lego Ice Bricks Tray, and my crockpot. I placed the broken crayons into the ice cube tray and then placed the tray in the crockpot with a liner. It took about an hour for all the crayons to melt. Once they did, I took turned the crockpot off and allowed the tray to cool slightly. After about 15 minutes I lifted the tray out and placed it into the refrigerator until the crayons were solid.

did you use the same mold for the lego candies & crayons? I was wondering if the candies would get any of the wax taste from the crayons- since I may do the crayons first or if I do the candies first- I was wondering for making more of both for another year?
