Birthday Countdown Chain...

About a week before Cole's birthday we made a Birthday Countdown Chain. I started with 6 strips of paper (there were 6 days until his birthday party). I let Cole color and decorate the strips of paper. Then we connected the links. Every morning he got to cut a link from the chain and every day we counted to see how many days were left until his birthday.
