Fun Friday Giveaway...

Oh my is it Friday again? The weeks are flying by. As I've mentioned we're swamped with orders for our care. crop. cure. shirts and bags in anticipation of the upcoming ScrapPink event. Love the orders, but I'd rather be updating our blog or working on next month's promo instead of packing out shirts. It's been a little cooler here this week. 85 instead of 95, which is a big change. Make Something Monday...

This is another digital book I made using iPhoto. I really like using the Apple products because it is integrated with where I already have all my digital pictures stored. I made this medium sized book (6x8 inches) last year after a family trip to Sea World. It was an easy way to share pictures with everyone without have to make a bunch of prints and put them in an album.

Well first off all I just have to say "Holy orders Batman"!!! Boy, we have been BUSY around here. I guess a lot of people are ordering for retreats, conventions and ScrapPink events. So for this week I want to hear what your favorite scrapbooking getaway is. For me it is every March when I fly to Chicago to visit a friend of mine for 3 or 4 days. This is our 2nd installment in the Digital MSM edition. This is a little picture book that Kristi made for us after our visit to Chicago. I guess great minds think alike. She ordered hers from Shutterfly. It is about 3x3 inches and came with a really nice hard bound cover.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I took over 1000 pictures last week and there are definatly some goodies in the bunch. I still haven't had a chance to sort through the group shots, you know to see who is picking their nose or has their eyes closed, but I did want to share a picture I took of Cole playing on the beach after we had taken all the family pictures. Make Something Monday...

I wanted to focus the next few weeks on digital books. I am NOT a digital scrapbooker, but I do take tons of digital pictures. This little book was made using iPhoto on my Mac and uploading it directly to Apple's site to have it printed. It is very small, about 2x3 inches and you had to order it as a 3 pack. I'm pretty sure it was $9.99 for all 3 of them. I made these to send as a thank you to Kristi's girls for playing so nicely and being such great hosts to Cole while we were in Chicago. Since I received 3 of them I let Cole keep one so he could flip through pictures of him with his new friends. Nothing fancy, but it is done. And it made a great little gift to send the girls.

Before I get to this week's giveaway I want to say hello from the beach. We are in St. Augustine with our family for our annual Labor Day vacation. In order to be entered to win a prize this week I need your help. Every year we take a family photo, one with everyone and one with just the 8 cousins. Here are last year's pictures. The group shot is what it is and will always be because I have to be in it. So tri-pod and remote is the best I can do. But, I'm looking for ideas for the kid picture.
